OVERVIEW
SUNOCO EXTREME MOLY-5 GREASES are calcium sulfonate-based EP lubricants designed for high-speed and high-load applications. Formulated to replace older lithium-based technology, SUNOCO EXTREME MOLY-5 GREASE resists water washout, has long service life, and provides exceptional wear protection. It contains 5% molybdenum solid friction modifier to increase lubricity and extend equipment life under the most severe conditions.
APPLICATIONS
SUNOCO EXTREME MOLY-5 GREASE is purpose-built for heavy-duty equipment operating under severe working conditions. It has been formulated for extreme load, extreme temperature, and extreme speed applications but is more than serviceable where a general-purpose grease or a moly-fortified grease would normally be utilized. Excellent for all off-road construction, grading, agricultural, commercial vehicle applications and the most demanding industrial, manufacturing, materials handling operations previously lubricated by a lithium-based product.

SUNOCO EXTREME MOLY-5 GREASE has excellent load carrying capabilities and can handle high speed loads under stress. With a dropping point that exceeds 600 °F, SUNOCO EXTREME MOLY-5 GREASE is suitable for use at operating temperatures ranging from – 5 °F to 400 °F for three or four season use.
