OVERVIEW

SUNOCO LAX MOBILE GEO 15W-40 is an exceptionally high-quality oil for utilization in lean-burn mobile gas engine oil (GEO) applications. Designed specifically for lean-burning natural gas engines requiring Cummins CES 20074 quality lubricants, SUNOCO LAX MOBILE GEO 15W-40 provides excellent protection against engine wear and deposit formation while inhibiting oxidation and nitration instability.  Formulated with advanced dispersant detergency technology and higher levels of anti-wear additives than typical low-ash GEO’s, SUNOCO LAX MOBILE GEO 15W-40 is designed to meet the demanding wear protection requirements of lean-burning engines.  Its superior protection supports reduced downtime and service-related costs.

It provides superior protection under severe operating conditions while reducing sludge and deposits for long engine life.  SUNOCO LAX MOBILE GEO 15W-40 meets the performance requirements of most major natural gas engine producer' lean-burn designed engines and provides protection beyond the limits of the specifications they require.

APPLICATIONS

SUNOCO LAX MOBILE GEO 15W-40 is suitable for use in buses, transit fleets, trucks and other vehicles equipped with CNG engines. It meets the requirements of Cummins CES 20074. SUNOCO LAX MOBILE GEO 15W-40 is formulated for extended service life and can help reduce operating expenses.  Cummins C Gas Plus and B Gas Plus engines, Detroit Diesel, John Deere.

This product is no longer supported for use in Cummins stoichiometric engine designs.  Please see Super C-3 Engine Oils for use in those engines.
